First Birthday of Dahlia

Dear Dahlia,

April 6th, 2009.

Baby Dahlia.

It's your first birthday.

She's afraid of a shower.

You brought lots of happiness to our home. It's just like you made many pritty little flowers bloomed in our house.

I like the way you follow me wherever I go you would show your smile.

Her first Christmas.

I like the way you look up my face and wag your tail.

I don't know how such a tiny life has become big for me.

My little girl, Dahlia... Remember?

The moment when you first heard sparrows' twitter.

The moment when you first felt the breeze.

The moment when you first ran on the grass.

Puma Dahlia.

And, you know what..... ?

Lots of more beautiful things are waiting for us in our future.

Dahlia, my little princess.

Let us walk side by side and stop on the way to look at flowers, and...

And, slowly....., slowly........, and slowly spend day after day.....

Happy Birthday, Dahlia.

Lots of love,

rica

Dahlia eating her birthday cake very wildly.

  3. Garando-san,

Thank you for celebrating Daisy’s birthday on Dahlia’s birthday!!! (just kidding!)

Yes. They get along with each other so well. Dahlia sometimes acts selfish a little bit just like most little sisters do but Daisy never gets angry. She’s a very tolerant girl. I have to be like her…

Thank you for your congratulatory message to Dahlia!

We cerebrated her birthday with lots of food. Dahlia was so excited especially to eat cake as you can see in the pic! :D

  5. Lenj-san,

    Thank you for visiting!

    > “I thought I was the one…..”

I really think that meeting Daisy and Dahlia is a destiny. I believe that God had known I would move to this country and had prepared all what I’d need even before I decided to come here. Daisy had been waiting for me for three months. Moving to the Philippines is my destiny too!

    > for me, chihuahua is the cutest!…

Yes, they are very adorable and “Kawaii”!!! Do you have a Chihuahua? If you don’t, you should have one!(or two! Hehe!) However it costs more than we expect in fact… I’ll tell you about it maybe in the next post! ;)

  6. Someone gave us a pug and it died after 2 weeks. :( He as just a month old. He's name is Noneng or No name. So sad... :( My mom is still sad about him. Made her protective of our Shit zu-Maltese and Rott more.

  7. Oh! Gomennasai!! I got the names mixed up! :D
I meant Dahlia of course... I guess I made it obvious that I just woke up when I was reading this post. I have a lot of meetings in the evenings so I wake up pretty late in the mornings. (Garando's Excuse) :D

  8. SwitSexyThings-san,

That’s really sad. Even though he was with your family only for two weeks, he was definitely a part of your family and he will be forever. I think you and your mother are very thoughtful persons. I hope you’ll be able to overcome the sadness someday.

    Garandee-san,

    > Who’s prettier? Daisy of course…..
The other day, when I was walking with Daisy and Dahlia by Manila Bay, people laughed and said, “Bulldog! Hahahahahaaaa! ^o^”
Does “Bulldog” mean “Kawaii” in Tagalog?

    > Oh, Gomennasai!!…..
“It’s OK. Never mind, Garandee-san. Anyone make mistakes. By the way, I like milk bones sold at Dogs and the City at MOA. You don’t have to beg my forgiveness with it though.”

  15. Hahaha! No, it made me laugh so hard. Arigato gozaimasu, I totally deserved to be called Garandee for mixing up Dahlia and Daisy! :D

Unfortunately a lot of people in the Philippines are not too familiar with dog breeds. So the moment they see a dog with a short snout, they call it a bulldog. But no worries, I'm sure they find Daisy kawaii! ;)

  16. HalfCrazy-san,

Dahlia is very particular about food. My husband and I always have hard time to find what she can eat… :(

    cpsanti-san,

Nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting. :D

I wish I could have more time to make their outfits. I’m too busy…

    Mabel-san,

Thank you for the tag! I’ll try it sometime soon!

    Garando-san,

I laughed too. It was like I revenged your mistake intentionally but I didn’t mean it at all! Sorry!
